Unlike many heirloom garlics named for the places they originated, Music carries the name of the grower who helped share it with the world. The variety is believed to have traveled from Italy to Ontario, Canada, in the early 1980s with garlic grower Al Music. While its precise Italian origins have faded with time, its reputation has only grown—earning the trust of generations of growers for its generous cloves, exceptional flavor, and dependable harvests.
